Background

The Central Allegheny Challenger Learning Center (CACLC) will be part of the National Challenger Foundation along with 48 other Challenger Learning Centers across the world.

Challenger Learning Centers offer educational programs using space as a theme and the power of simulations as a teaching tool. Creating these positive learning experiences for students foster a long-term interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

These are highly acclaimed programs that motivate students to learn, while helping them develop critical life skills.

Each year, almost 400,000 students and teachers experience the hands-on challenges and excitement of a Learning Center program.  While the focus of the program is on grades 4-9 supplemental programs are also available to students in K-3 and 10-12 and beyond.

The CACLC will be a portal to a STEM learning pathway.
